I glassed a 1-gallon gatorade bottle, then pulled the bottle out. It was one of those "squarish" like bottle. Had a nice flat spot on the bottom that was perfect for mount a throttle body.

Fiberglass....Carbon fiber......could be an alternative over
plywood. As a composite I can form a stronger cigar box at a
fraction of the weight.
