Dennis,

I don’t remember which way the “B” psru turns.  Is it clockwise or counterclockwise?  I have the “C” and it turns clockwise.  From the pilot perspective.

How did you arrive at the .6 oz/gal number?  I am using .8 oz/gal, but that is because I am filling mostly from 5 gal containers and that is 2 oz of MMO and 2 oz of Wal-Mart 2 stroke.  Same for 50 gal drums, 20 oz/20 oz.

I've been collecting some engine data on my Renesis 4 port powered RV-7A with a Catto 76X88 2 blade prop.  I use Mogas  with 0.6 oz Wal-Mart 2 stroke and Marvel Mystery oil mixed 50% each.  Static is 5550 rpm.  In climb at full power I get 5700 rpm at about 85 knots.  Level at 2000 ft msl and 155 mph I turn 5200 rpm on the engine @ 20mpg.  At 170 mph I turn 5800 rpm.  At 185 mph I turn 6200  rpm.  I have the B gearbox 2.85:1 engine to prop ratio.

I now have over 500 flying hours.  I use Mobil 1 - 15W 50 synthetic oil and change it every 50 hours.

My flying for the last year and a half includes 2 to 3 very short flights each week to play tennis  (7.5 minutes each way).  I warm the engine to at least 110 deg F. before going to 3200 rpm for engine checks.  I takeoff  full throttle when the oil and water are over 120 deg. F.

I hope this is helpful.

PS:  Charlie and Tupper England -Shirley and I are excited you and Tupper are making plans for another fly-in!  The last one was great - let us know how we can help!
