If forced to use Teflon Tape, start the tape well back from the end of the threaded fitting so it can't get into the inside. Be very careful when disassembling to catch all the little threads so they don't go inside.

Nothing at all on A/N flair fittings; the flare should do the sealing.
Teflon tape is considered bad news for anything oil or fuel related; it
can shed pieces that will clog small passages. Teflon paste type sealant
is fine for oil. Fuel Lube (brand name) should work for NPT fuel
fittings; there's another product that's much easier to find (any good
plumbing supply) but I've forgotten the name. I'll find my can next trip
to the hangar.
