That sounds great Tracy.
I'm finishing our Glasair SII RG in the next six months and about to wire her up so guidance on earths etc for glass aircraft would be very helpful.

I had planned to have a data logger  add-on for the EM2 but after making one prototype it turned out to be a bit too clunky.

The EM3 Does have the data logging option and it is compatible with either the EC2 or EC3 (or EC4).

However, it is very unlikely that the answer to an engine miss problem would be revealed by the data logger.   That is more than likely a more basic problem, possibly with the power & ground distribution system.

On that subject, I'm working on a more detailed guide for electrical system layout for builders using EFI now.   On carbureted engines with distributor (or magneto) ignition systems, almost any layout will work but introducing a digital computer into the electrically noisy environment of an internal combustion engine is an entirely different matter.  This has been the hardest point to get across to builders.  And it's doubly difficult on composite aircraft.   I'll post the guide to the list when it's done.

Tracy,

I am confused as to which of your products have data logging capability.  I am still getting an intermittent cough/backfire? And data logging might help figure out where it is coming from.  I have the EC-2 and EM-2.  do either have that capability?
