Thank you for testing my controller. As I expected, it was not the problem. As for the switches, yes, they probably were moved in the process of removal, packing, shipping, etc. The cold start switch could NOT have been the problem, as that panel is on the opposite side of my cockpit, and I had no passenger! The engine was running strong at full power and instantly stopped. I had made no changes to anything since starting the takeoff roll.
Again, I am left with no cause. We were so sure that the trash in the rotor housing was the cause that I removed all the wiring, plumbing, etc. while waiting for the insurance adjuster to return from vacation. It was a giant disappointment to find that it was muffler trash that got in AFTER the fact, due to being nose-down on the pavement. By then it was too late to test any other parts of the installation except remaining wiring in the cockpit. I never did find any broken or loose wires, so the stoppage shall forever remain a mystery!!
Rotor on, guys. I'll be watching from Lycosaurus land.
