I spent 20 years in the Air Force- 4 active, 6 in the California ANG, and then 10 in the Reserves. Loved it. Now, at work lots of guys come up and confess that that was the one real regret that they have in life- that they did not serve. I haven't heard anyone say that it was wasted time.
