Joe, I believe Bob himself recommends the sealed glassmats. You can put them in any position. John Slade and I both use the same thing: a pair of Panasonic LC-X1220P 20ah units. Digikey sells them. I can turn over on just one. Two in parallel give me plenty of cranking.
