| Here is what the factory says:
"B2 is a stainless that was imported from Japan in sheet form. It has similar characteristics to cold rolled steel but wont rust and also wont polish up like a 304 or a 4 series stainless. "If you are going to tig weld it use a standard stainless steel rod no matter the grade and try to keep the heat down to a minimum." Regards, Justin Moore TFI Marketing

It appears that B2 SS is used for flatware, heaters, etc. It welded easily with 321SS rod. You may want to shoot DNA an email and see what rod they recommend.
