Jarrett,
My "Mistral" back-plate is currently residing on my gutted 13B on my engine stand for mock-up
purposes...........My project has hardly moved forward for the last 5 years because of my care-taking
duties for an invalid mother 55 miles from my shop/hangar.........I am rarely able to spend more than
a few hours a month actually working on it.............As I sit here I am surrounded by project parts and
as you can tell I have way too much time on my hands for thinking up wild project ideas.........
My "Mistral" back-plate (& Renesis hsg if you need it) will be made available to you for scanning
when you need it as it will not be installed on my project any time soon..............<:)
Best Regards,
Kelly Troyer

Excellent! Thanks Kelly, the Mistral Front cover [mount] actually is a fair bit simpler than the OEM cover in some ways, w/ some small changes it looks very do-able! I've got local access to some rotary stuff [an wrecked car I'd spoken for a couple years back] so between that and what you've got I'm sure I can produce a similar product that meets the needs of the average homebuilder. Thanks for taking the time to send all these my way.. lots of food for thought there!
Btw, is your Mistral mount installed a this point [either on a short block, or airframe]?
Thanks again!
