I hear that,
problem is, our goal is somewhere around 400-450 HP (at take-off)in a Legacy,
with around 280-300 ktas at 15-25K+ feet, and we don't like unknowns.
Want to debug as much as possible on the ground, life's too
short.

here. Shortly I hope.

Greg,
How close are you
to dynoing your engine?

Being a pack rat and Rotary freak I never throw anything about our
favorite engine.........In my
never
ceasing endevor to get organized I refound the attached 13B dyno sheets
sent to me by
Bill
Jongbloed in the late 1980's when he was developing the 13B and a prop
reduction unit for
sale..........I
guess the effort did not make it as I have not heard of any Jongbloed
engines ever
The first sheet tells a little of Bill's opinions on engines and
power in general then 13B's in
particular.............The 2nd
sheet is an aircraft version turbocharged 13B.............Note
the power
at modest
boost levels............Max corrected 202.7 hp at 6500
rpm and 8.93 in/merc (4.39
psi)
boost..........The
3rd sheet is a IMSA racing 13B (naturally aspirated) built to last only
"6" hours
developing
327.9 hp at 9250 rpm..............I have scanned them to my
computer but each is 700
to 1000
kb and so far I am not computer savy enough to reduce
size............Will send them to
anyone
interested..............FWIW
