My friend just made first flight in a RV4 with a Lycoming.  He said that the
main gear is too springy and he had wrapped it with fiberglass.

Do you stiffen the gear with wraps of carbon fiber?

what kind of resin?  Other solutions?

He said it bounces a lot on landing
