If I might add to Mikes comment.. It's much more pleasant tuning from the comfort of the pilot's seat with my own feet on the brakes, than while standing beside the engine with a large meat dicer running less than two feet away. That alone is enough reason.

Tuning is tuning. I've had my share of tuning issues with the EC-2. But I'd much rather turn a knob and push a button to tweak it than to have to fiddle with needles, screws, jets, etc.... To each his own I guess.
