Preliminary thoughts are that I may change from -6A rivets to -6AD.  The As were chosen for the
same reason that steel rivets were not acceptable.  That might have been over reaction.

I was going to ask about that. For those who haven’t looked it up; the “A”s are ‘soft 1100 grade aluminum with tensile strength of 16,000 psi; the “AD”s  are 2117 Al with tensile strength of 38,000 and shear of 26,000 psi.  A considerable step up in strength.
