There should be no problem using the RB flange.   Weld the pipes to the flange  from the  inside as per the RB instructions and use 309 filler rod.

I'll be using 321 SS for the exhaust pipes, but is there any problem with using the Racing Beat header flange at the engine?  This is 1/2" mild steel, and I just happen to have two of them.  They are heavy, and I might think about cutting it into two separate flanges, since I'll have ball joints on the exhaust pipe.  Thanks,
