Hi JohnD

Yes, there are certainly a lot of them littering the ground, but then in
fairness - there are a lot more of them flying.

However, no question about it, I'm certainly a die-hard rotary fan after 10
years and 500 hours behind mine - despite a few engine out glides{:>).

However, while I build and sell the EFISM for the rotary (and Subaru) engine
installations - the volume itself is not sufficient to justify the time and
tools (fortunately not trying to make a living at it and I enjoy doing it).

So, I let my former Hangar neighbor ( now partner) talk me into designing
and building this monitor/configuration gadget for the new electronic
ignitions for Lycomings.  Lot of volume there (over 500 aircraft with the
Emag/Pmag systems) and a design challenge to have 3 asynchronous devices
communicating. But dealing with the typical Lycoming customer is a bit
different {:>)  Who knows my new gadget the Electronic Ignition Commander
(EICommander) just might prevent a few from littering the ground.

Ed, on a sour note, Lycoming has made more aircraft litter on the 50 states
than any other engine manufacture.  JohnD
