Todd,
Well said.
George (down under)
Just back from a loong working vacation and catching up on the list. While
there has been an excess of t-shirt posts.... I'd like to have one! But from
viewing all the ideas put forth so far... I agree that the best choice for
wings style is something that is recognized by most for it's association with
aviation. As I'm typing I thought of AOPA so I just checked out their
logo. Kinda looks like a rotor in there doesn't it? Their wings are a
little too downswept, while too upswept is just too Harley. The straight or
slightly upswept wings with a slight hint of military feel to it would look
best IMO. As far as adding words... keep it simple and
clear. I like a simple FlyRotary. Written as one word. Not
only does it say everything it needs too, it is also a testament to this very
list that has brought us all together to share the ideas that ultimatly lead
to our successes. I suppose it could be FlyRotary.com
I also like the idea of
a large image on the back of the shirt and a small image on the front breast
(not small breast).

At least something like “Fly Rotary” will give the
un-initiated a clue that it has something to do w/
airplanes.

Actually, I like it because it's not so
literal. The rotor and the wings say it all, and lets people see and
interpret the imagery as opposed to the words.
