     I do not know how we can count windings of the stator without unwinding a coil in

my case (new stator)............Perhaps Ernest counted windings of the junk stator when

he disassembled it.............You might find a damaged stator down under at a local

Harley shop................

Is there any way of comparing the wire size and number of windings. Given that the stators are the same size I'm wondering if their made by the same manufacturer. Any idea of the manufacturer or either/both?

   Received the 2 metal stator  sheets in good shape...........They match up perfectly to the "COMPUFIRE" stator that I have ........Will be worth at least a couple of beers the next time we  are in close proximity......
