my renesis engine only came with 2 holes and 2 studs in the block for the filter.  i was going to install a remote since i doubt the stock will fit under a rv-6a cowl.  since the holes are close together it seems i should have the threaded ports come out on opposite sides.  from there i would need flex lines with/without 90's to the remote filter base.  i think i need a port for the redrive too.   is it acceptable to mount the remote on the redrive plate?  is there a better place?  the cool side of the engine seems will be busy with plug wires and cooling ducting.   is anyone selling this part or have a drawing i could use to have one made?  other than the O-ring seats, it seems the whole thing could be done on a drill press with std bits and taps, no?   are the seats machined flat and square, or filleted the dia of the O-ring?     kevin
FWIW,

I still make these, in versions for the FC, FD, and Renesis:

I suppose that they ~could~ be make entirely on a drill press,
but a milling machine makes for much better precision.
