Greetings,
I've been working on part
of the new intake, and took it to the airport today to see if I can tell whether
it would fit in the new cowl. Well, it's too close to call. I've
already got the new cowl, but until I take off the current radiator,
turbo, intake, and alternator, I can't fit it. If I'm going to
have to do all that, I might as well just start the rev 2 upgrade now. I
guess you could say... (you're going to hate this)... the BUC stops here (told
you <G>).
The turbo has been on order
for 6 weeks, and was supposed to take 6-8, so it can't be too far out. By
the first of the week, I'll have everything to finish the intake, and I'll go
ahead and place an order for my new radiator. With any luck, this
will all fall together with pretty good timing. Man, I just can't wait to
see what this plane will be like without all the drag. Zoom, zoom
