John,

The Moroso Spiral Flow muffler design what I tailored my first muffler after.  I wasn't very happy with the results.  First, it wasn't very quiet.  Second, it couldn't take the severe pounding.  And third, I couldn't keep it bolted in place inside the down pipe.  The bolt kept melting and cracks developed around the bolt holes.  I put a doubler around the bolt holes and went to an SS bolt.  That seemed to correct those two problems, but as I said, it didn't do a very good job at quieting the rotary's bark.  So I switched to the Hushpower II, with limited success.

Moroso makes a spiral flow muffler, something on the design that Ed had.  The only thing is that it doesn't come in SS.  An internal picture is show in Jeg's hp catalog.  JohnD
