Hi Rusty,

The first one is based on a REW.  This goes in the RX7 mule with a turbo and will be serially abused and get thrashed to within an inch of it's life. A mate of mine in Melbourne has a turbo single rotor in an under 2L Sports Sedan tells me he's getting 247 kW from a tubo single rotor on 100 octane racing fuel. This might sound a bit insane to some.  However,  it's about right as most of the really tough 13B turbos in the drag cars up in the 600 - 700 BHP range.  One bloke I know in Meelbourne,  Grant Williams,  is getting 800 on methanol,  about the same as Abel Ibarra and others in the US.  there are also a couple of guys getting 1000 + BHP out of 3 rotor engines.  Sacry stuff! Anyone want to sponsor a Reno Racer???

Back to reality though,  with the Renesis,  I need to stick it in myown car,  see it with my own eyes, and have my own dyno sheets to prove it,  particulaly  as the Renesis is so new.

Additionally, I really need to do a some serious evaluation of that as well before I let it loose on fliers.  To this end,  we are currently negotiating with a local manufacturer of an ultralight to try one.  We'll try an REW based single rotor  first though.  I KNOWN they don't break.  So stay tuned. Moe coming shortly.

Cheers,

Leon

Good to see you come out of the closet Leon :-)  You didn't tell me it
was ultimately going to be for a Renesis though.  You might as well go
ahead and pencil me in for one now :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (gotta go make my employer pay me some OT to pay for it)
