I am building mine out using vinylester resin. This is supposed to be
resistant to the effects of ethanol. I have heard from those that have had
early issues with ethanol that the successful cure for epoxy and polyester
tanks is a sloshing with POR15 fuel tank sealer.

issues, there were 'several engines in the Long Island Sound area that
seemed to have
been badly damaged when fiberglass tanks that had been filled with
ethanol-enhanced
gasoline started to fail. Some of the tanks had begun leaking.'
