Don't worry, Ernest, you can make installment payments on the bolts {:>). Sounds like the end play is right where you want it.  The engine parts looked good and it felt right when turned over - so I'm convinced your rebuild job was just fine.

Now, I am interested in how your "home brewed" ceramic coating is going to endure.  That may provide one inexpensive way of holding down the oil temps.

I bought the seal kit that Tracy sells.  I'm pretty sure those are TES (I'm to lazy to run downstairs to confirm it.)

Ed understates the assistance he provided today.  While I cringe, thinking of the bill I'm going to get for the bolts he left with me, just having someone there who knows what they're looking at is an incredible comfort.

BTW, Ed, I got the eccentric shaft part bolted on and checked the endplay. Right about .0018, which is to the low end of the range.  I think that means that bearings have most of their life left in them.
