Joe, I would recommend the style that
Dale has designed. I think you will find the fitting is a nice place to
hang your oil pressure sensor and perhaps even an oil temp sensor.
I got the block off plate from Mazdatrix, but ended up drilling holes and
tapping it for those accessories - which Dale as already done.

Actually, both. I am currently concerned about how to move the
oil filter from the top of the engine to some where more conveinent so both
of the components will be needed.

Are you asking about the aluminum block that replaces the oil filter
adaptor on the rear iron, or, the remote filter mount that the filter
screws onto?
