Steve/ Ernest,
I think mine is 11 CFM and it works OK for small jobs. I thought I was being smart and built my own cabinet out of SS and it works well.
My brother-in-law went one better and built his out of plywood and lined it with thin shoe sole rubber - it was a lot cheaper.
There is always a better way.

Ernest,
I pretty sure that my compressor isn't large enough for sand blasting. That
requires a lot of pressure and air flow. This is a probably 20 gallon
horizontal tank. When I bought it, I was selected it because it provided
more air flow than others of similar size.
It should work then. The one I rented was a 20gal tank. 18CFM, if I remember correctly.
I just have a blasting cabinet. BTW, ever have need for a blasting cabinet? I just sort of hacked this one together, but it has worked so well that I hate to trash it.
