Steve/ Ernest,
I think mine is 11 CFM and it works OK for small jobs. I thought I was being 
smart and built my own cabinet out of SS and it works well.

My brother-in-law went one better and built his out of plywood and lined it 
with thin shoe sole rubber - it was a lot cheaper.
There is always a better way.
