I found some notes from not so long ago, and again they are from Lynn.
 
BTW Lynn's notes on cfm/fuel/hp are very similar. He went a little further and included velocity - FLOW RATE = Velocity x Area, therefore  VELOCITY = Flow Rate/ Area.
 
Have a look at the second page of the attached calculations, borrowing heavily from yourself and Lynn.
 
Yep! First of the Cab-Rank was 120.58 MPH inlet Velocity for 44mm inlet.
I figure you must have know that, or seen it before!
 
I got carried away and did more Velocity calculations on different inlet sizes.
 
I had to modify one of your figure -  120 mph is 174.6 ft/sec not 176 ft/sec - typo most likely!
 
This is a work in progress, so there are still a couple of errors - but it might save someone some work down the track.
