Joe, there is no big mystery about plugging the ports. They are metric size bolt thread. I don't remember the size, but you can very easily try few until one fits. I just cut the threaded ends of two bolts, and made a screwdriver slot on the outside end. Screw them in with some kind of sealant or Loctite if you want them there for good. I don't see why you'll ever want to take them out?
