I believe a lot of people are using Odyssey PC680 (17AH). Personally I am using dual PC925 (28AH) mostly because of it being IFR capable and a computer glass panel (10 to 15 amp load) and I want to have plenty of reserve in case of an alternator failure while IFR.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Batteries
Gentlemen,
I am going to install a p-ported RX8 fuel injected engine with dual electric systems. What size batteries do I need to be able to start on both and run on either/or so I can build the battery boxes. Amp/hr rating - brand ? As this is an aerobatic plane they also need to be sealed batteries.
Thank you,
Randy
