I have received several emails from Paul's admirers urging me to offer
Larry's bellhousing as an option on the RD-1A/B/C gear drives through
RWS. I responded that if the bellhousing actually came to be and it met
the technical requirements for strength and mechanical tollerance that I would
have no objection to that and would be willing to work with Larry on
verifying those requirements.
I was told that they would relay this to Larry. I have not
heard from Larry so I don't know if he got that message.
FWIW, I have seen a lot of 'Paul inspired' projects come and go without
producing much in the way of flyable hardware. If Larry can pull this on
off, more power to him.

Tracy,
I believe Larry is not only well placed to help
the US Rotary movement, he is also good intentioned - in that he wants to help
and to develop components etc. I also believe he is very knowledgeable, with a
good background in Aviation.
It's early days, but it's my opinion
that networking between you both, would be value added for all
concerned.
