Following the frustrations of the build day I enjoy
surfing the net on my notebook and reading in bed, while Jana watches what ever
wedding planning, cooking show or pop reality show happens to be on TV.
The other day, I got a wild hair and hunted down the "Mazda Papers" by our own
beloved Tracy Crook (couldn't find the Conversion Manual :-( ).
I read this cover to cover when I first got
interested in the rotary a few years ago. I understood some but a lot was
foggy. BUT NOW as I re-read it sooooooo many things are so much more
clear and in my current stage of developement very helpful. It really
brings things together in a MUCH better frame.
Also, I am a guessin' that we
homebuilt/experimental types are of a similiar ilk as I read some of Tracy's
social observational rants and I keep thinking EXACTLY. Thank Gawd I am not
the only one who thinks this way. I am especially fond of the one in the
last issue. EXACTLY!!! Good show.
Really guys, it is worth a re-read. Now to
track down the conversion manual....even if it may be a bit long in the tooth
(due to PSRU, Mounts, EFI's EM's, Intakes availability, etc).
FWIW.
All the best,
Chris
