Well Tracy, too bad - you just will never learn it or get there,
you only have how many ??? drives out there doing well? ....incl. your own birds.
Them have how many out there ? ....oh, just their own, one drive?? !!
Yeah, now it is all clear!! You don't know s**t, they know it all!!
I always get a bad feeling about a product, that cannot sell itself, but has to resort to badmouth the competition.
Best are those products that get badmouthed all day long and still outperform the rest (generally these people don't even hit back - just ignore the cracks and spend the time and energy on R&D instead)
By the way it is Geschwender (a German name....). Since Fred passed away, the company went through a couple of hands. Seems it is a simple, but sturdy drive for up to 600hp (the original plan was for a 640 V8 in that range to replace turbines on cropdusters) The chaindrive seems to have some capacity to dampen torque-pulses, as the chain gets thrown out radially by centrifugal force. As pulses happen the chain absorbs them - sometimes you can see a wave form in the free part between the gears).
I assume the market is just not that big to make any real business for that size of PSRU - weight/power.
Also a V8 that can loaf at power settings of 600 hp is not easy to find, ...if at all....
By the way, I belief the Geschwender drive is engine-oil lubricated, correct me if I am wrong.
A simple small nozzle dripping oil on the inside of the chain...

Thought I'd see what else I was doing wrong so took a fresh look at the geareddrives.com website.
The kiss of death for a set of gears is in not using the proper lubrication. Separate lubrication systems are required for safety and for proper engine and gear function. Sharing engine oil with the PSRU is asking for engine and/or PSRU failure in advance.
There is absolutely nothing I'm doing right!
But the company does not look like it is for sale though. But Gershwinder (Sp?) drive company is for sale now. Their chain drives were among the best I've seen.
