Thanks for the input. Is your friend in SC, by any chance. I recall a Lancair in the Greenville vicinity that made a first flight earlier this year with a turbo 20B. I wanted to take a ride out to see his installation, but can not remember his name or email address.

I read and agree with the answers that you received from others on the list. The twin turbos are not a good option.

I friend of mine is running a 20B in a Lancair, and he went with a T04 turbo. Since you will have to fabricate an exhaust system anyways, I think that the T04 is the way to go. Get a turbo with a high a/r ratio. Nothing lower than .96. The 1.26 is even better. The housing will be larger, and require a larger heat shield, but they are much better suited to continuous operation.

Steve, Dave, or anyone else using the stock turbo(s)

On my 20B installation I am considering using the stock turbo system. I would only be using low boost levels. I have a couple of questions for anyone who is using the stock turbos. Were your systems twins turbos? Did you leave both turbos in place? Is over speeding an issue for our mode of operation? What else should I know about using the stock turbos?
