Thank you Lynn.  Believe it or not I am not easily offended.....couldn't be so happy being a cop too if'n I was.  It is just become so accepted to bash ALL lawyers and usually it is in a manner that can't be responded to.  Also, it can often ignite of blaze of antidotes about bad lawyer stories.

Remember, 97% of the lawyers make the other 3% of us look bad......ok, that IS a joke.  Even though it is easy to joke, the vast majority of lawyers I have known are hard working, honest, dedicated professional who's entire job is fixing or trying to reduce problems others created.  I hope to be able  to buy you an adult beverage of choice some day and discuss the issue in depth.

Yeah, you don't want me to get started about politics.  With major issues like the invasion from the south (what if it were 1milion Russians poised at our borders?), user fees, foreign aid....etc, my conservative liberaltarian views could get me waaaay too stirred up.  I concede that a lot of politicians are also lawyers, but in the same vane (sp?), most advisors on medical boards are medical doctors, most rocket scientist are engineers etc.  LAWyers deal with laws.

I am  bettin' we would greatly agree on disappointment with current political affairs.  If you get annoyed at the idea of legislation w/o representation, try legislation WITH representation (or so called representation)

Thank you again.

All the best,

Chris

I apologize unreservedly.

I note that 228 of our congress in DC have at least, law degrees, and just today expanded gun control law yet again, without a single minute of debate, and by a voice vote, so that no one member can be held responsible for his or her vote. Just caught me at a bad time.
