A 13B Pport with just a hint of boost (2 or 3 pounds) up to 12,000 feet would make one heck of an airplane engine.
 
The advantage of the Pport is it's near lack of reversions. In the side port, the flat side of the rotor keeps showing up in the port entrance. In the Pport only the pointy end of the rotor crossing the port, and the lower half of that is connected to the low pressure from the open exhaust port and header.
