the 74 through 85's had a little mechanical oil injection pump. You could set
it to your throttle position and control how much oil they injected. this was
back in the old carburated days. I havent tried it myself, but I would bet it
wouldnt be hard to mount one of these on a newer motor. The 73 and earlier had
the same pump but it had a different bolt pattern and I dont think they would
work. I might even have an old one laying around. I'll try to get a
pic.

That same pump is on all rotaries. The newest one is a fancy electronic
controlled one and a bit pricy. Two older styles cover all other rotaries. Drive
is from the same gear that drives the distributor or similar.
