Hey, Buly

Just wanted to let you know that if there is some question about the EM2 (NOP blinking) the fact that you see a flat line on your fuel maps may not mean anything.

If the EC2 and EM2 are not talking (also indicated by blinking NOP) then the EM2 will not get the fuel maps from the EC2.  Therefore, you will see a flat line on the EM2 even though the EC2 is just fine.

Not saying its not possible (although I don't know what would make them flat line).  Here is an easy way to test.  If they are truly flat lines, then you should be able to use the EM2 (if it is indeed working/connected up correctly) to increase the value of the fuel map at a specific cell.  So give it a try.  If you increase a Map value with the EM2 but it does not show up in the EC2 (reflected as a bar of increased height on the EM2)  then I would suspect that the two are not communicating.

You are up-to something Rusty. When I checked my look up tables, they
were flat. Do you think Tracy flat lined my EC2? :)
I tried also with EM2 turned off. Injectors did not react.

Hi Buly,

I thought about this some more, and want to change my odds from one in a million, to one in ten million.   The EM-2 can't touch controller B, and you've tried two different EC-2s.

Was there a question about whether Bob's EC-2 is set up for the same CAS?  Even so, you'd think the simulator would work, but that's a Tracy question.

I hate to say it, but there really should be only two options for troubleshooting.  One is to put the wiring back like it was when it was working.  The other is to wait until Tracy gets back, and let him take another look at the gizmos.  Of course if he finds nothing wrong, you'll be back to putting the wiring back like it was anyway.

Good luck,
Rusty (re-welded the single rotor intake)
