Al, makes a good point, if by design (or accident) your EC2 has been receiving its power through the injector Sneak-circuit, then after the snubber modification is made, it appears it can no longer receive power that way. So if by chance your main power switch for the EC2 was not connected properly (or failed) then the EC2 (before the snubber modification) could still get power through the injectors - but not any more. So add check power to EC2. However, you indicated that the EC2 did cause your spark plugs to fire, so would appear it is getting power at least intermittently from somewhere.

The blinking NOP tells you that the EC2 is not powered up; so check the EC2
power wiring. I suppose it is possible that you have been running the EC2
powered via the injector power.
