Search the RV-list archives and I think you'll find advice on using green Locktite (?). I think capillary action will suck it into the pin hole.

Hi Ernest;
   I had a leaky rivet, and used the green Locktite successfully. It is impervious to fuel and has a self wicking action for penetrating assembled parts. I applied a slight vacuum to my tank and applied some to ensure it would be drawn though, then released the vacuum and added a little more, just to ensure it hadn't drawn it completely through, leaving an air void. Never leaked since. I'm on my back out to the shop now (building the form for my concrete stairs for basement entrance) so I'll find the number for it and report back later.
