Bill, I had originally installed an oil/air separator similar to what many aircraft engines use.  However, after years and hundreds of hour of flying, I  removed it as I never found any oil in the fine wire screen mesh in the can.

Has anyone tried installing a positive crankcase ventilation valve on
their flying engine?  If so, how did you hook it up?  How much blowby
gets into the crankcase on a rotary?
