Ah! The infamous "Requirements Creep" - the
bane of every software designer/programmer (probably applies else where as
well).

it out. Probably a one-off, though.
I
think you hit upon the problem "simple list".
No, the problem is "mission
creep". This thread started out with Rich's request that folks add a
quick summary of their rotary configuration to their emails. I
suggested that a one-line pointer to a web-site would be a more
bandwidth-efficient way of conveying the information. In the
meantime, Ed had already posted a table of his configuration, with even
more info than Rich had initially suggested.
What it comes
down to is that the database can only tell us that "this works, in this
context"; change anything, and it may be that none of it will work anymore
- probably not that severe, but possibly.
Anyway, if folks want to send
me their data, based on this modified version of Ed's
list:
Tail
#: (if you have one - this will be use as the "key" to your entry;
otherwise I'll use some form of your name, or a nickname if you provide
it.) Builder:
Engine/Model/Year: Source Condition:
{New/Rebuilt(by whom)/Salvaged} Modifications:
Intake:
Exhaust:
PSRU/Re-Drive: Engine
Control: (factory ECU/aftermarket
ECU(whose)/mags/points-and-condenser/???) Fuel
Pumps:
Prop: Cooling System:
Oil System:
Installation: (plugs up/conventional/???)
Power: (specify whether empirical
or gues-timated) First Flown:
Total Time:
Platform: (your
aircraft)
