That's a little more difficult. Letting folks add their own information
requires allowing them "edit" privileges to the site. The only _practical_
way I know of doing that is something like the Wiki. I'll defer to our
Wikipedia expert as to whether this is a suitable format for a Wiki page.
The capability already exists in the wiki (http://www.rotarywiki.org)
to add a personal page, or any other page you like. That page can
contain any information you believe is pertinent. The page can also be
linked to.
However, for this application, I think modifying the rotary roster to
include a link to the name is a better solution. The data base is
already there and it has a LOT of data in it. It would be a shame to
have to duplicate the whole thing again. The update cycle is a problem
with the roster. I don't know if Dave L is updating the roster while
on his government paid middle east vacation but I have had no problems
with vandalism on the wiki site with the only protection being a valid
email address required to log in. BTW, Dave is a lucky guy. I just
checked his blog and found that he was dealt a royal flush while
playing 5 card stud! WOW!
