Buly,
Are you rich enough ??

When I cold start, I turn the mixture to 3 o'clock,
cold start on, bump the prime twice, and hit the
starter.

Even after sitting for a month or more, it fires up
after about 2-3 seconds of cranking.

If I don't have the mixture turned to rich, or the
cold start on though, it won't fire.

Steve, I have cut off switches on my pumps and I
shut the engine by  shutting the fuel pumps off. The strange thing is
that once it  sputters, I have to give it a boost with the cold
start, or it will  die again? Maybe I have to install the bypass fuel
bleed circuit? all  my injectors are uphill and any fuel leaking, will
go in the engine.
