Should not be a problem, Greg.  However, I would suggest removing them in the same order as shown for disassembly (cross hatch pattern), putting on the silicon and then tightening that bolt down before removing the next one.  If you have torqued them down previously, then I would also consider replacing the tension bolt washer (or "O" ring if using Tracy Crook's Tension bolt washers).  Its a pain to have to re-take the engine off or the gear box off just to replace a leaking tension bolts washer{:>).

I'm about to mod the eccentric shaft oil bypass valve and put the spiral of silicon around the tension bolts.
 
Question is it ok to remove one tension bolt at a time without affecting the internal oil and water seals?
