Thanks Joe, if you have a chance I would like to hear the value of the suggested capacitor.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Radio noise
I have an SL-30 NAV/COM and SL-40 COM. The COM works, but when I turn on
the
EM-2 I get a bunch of hash (white noise). Any suggestions on diagonstics?
The EM-2 is not connected to 'all' sensors yet.

I can't give you any suggestions that I have tried - but I have the same
issue - sort of and a "EE" friend suggested a fix. My problem is a little
different in that I don't get the white noise on my wired in COM radio -
only on my hand-held when the EM-2 is on. The suggested fix was to wire in a
ceramic capacitor between the power and ground leads as close to the
connector as possible. I think the value of the capacitor was 1MF - I'd have
to double check that.
