Joe, looks like in few hours you'll be able to fly out of the cage?

Yep, another few hours and I will have met the time requirement - I still
need to do a "Max-Gross" test - which I'm a little hesitant to do with my
current prop. I'll work my way up to it slowly and see how it performs.
One thing I've got to learn - even after almost 40 hours of flying this
plane - is to put the gear up! I'm so used to fixed gear planes that I
don't even think to put the gear up. I was flying Sunday and just couldn't
figure out why I had lost 10-12kts off my already sluggish top speed. It
only took me 30 minutes to figure it out :) It's also a lot quieter with
the gear up!
