I believe it would be easiest to just add an additional sensor to the same
wheel.
For Tracy it should be no problem to "update" his ECU to incorporate a
timing feature which lets you adjust the sensor/firing relation, no mater
where the sensor is positioned around the wheel. Of course this means that
you have to be able to program A and B differently or if you have redundant
channels to either/both controllers, to be able to adjust either of the
channels.
No extra wheel - no mounting difficulties. The wheel is such a low failure
item, I would consider a second wheel more risky then just stiking with one.
I would believe that the automotive based aftermarket controllers have the
flexibility to move the CAS to any convenient position...
Anyone still using an aftermarket car ECU?
Tracy, would it be possible to add 2 channels for CAS-input to A and B and
have the CAS adjustable for each channel?

I was guessing it would be the relationship between the two. So if an
additional CAS was place somewhere else on the wheel it would have to
be software adjusted to work. (i think)

Or,

an additional stock wheel could be mounted on the front of the pulley,
and so long as the relationship between the pickup and the wheel is
maintained, the pickup could be mounted anywhere in 360 degrees.
