Do you recall where you got your (now un-necessary) louvers?  I am going to try an area at the top of my cowl.

Does anybody think that will make a significant change in cooling air flow or am I wasting my time?

Hi Bill,
I'm not sure that the top of the cowling is the best place for louvers? Original VEZ / LEZ had an intake for the cabin air infront of the canopy. On takeoff at high angle of attack when you most need it, there was no air coming in. Basically the area had (more or less) stagnant air flow. Later when in level flight it was working good. Make sure it will work before cutting your cowl.
Buly
