Bill,
It appears that it will fit a range of engines. Although their description isn’t real clear. Here’s how they describe it…
<snip>
This bracket allows your alternator to be mounted down on the side of the engine, where the AC and Power Steering would normally go. Obviously, this item is for cars without AC or Power Steering. Construction is CNC laser cut 3/16th inch mild steel, press formed with CNC lathed end-bosses welded on, and powdercoated.
The bracket comes with all the necessary hardware to mount it to your engine, including M10 and M12 fasteners, front cover spacers and a tensioner. An optional 10mm spacer is available for those mounting a 2nd gen (FC) alternator in a 1st gen RX-7 or for Series 5 (89-91) 2nd gen owners who's cars did not come with a stock spacer. Does not include alternator belt, but suggested sizes are noted on the installation instructions.

If I had it to do over, I think I would give this item serious consideration. The only downside I see is that it is made of 3/16 mild steel. If I were to make my own, I would use 4130.
