Rusty, I believe you gave him the adapter size for the fuel pumps?
Buly

Hi Buly,

According to my notes, the size is the same.  As you will see, I ordered the sensors in 1/8 NPT, then used an adapter that was in a JC Whitney kit.

From my notes (doesn't mean it's correct):

For the record, I could have ordered a couple of the senders in the proper metric thread, but they were many times more expensive, and also not available for every sender.  I ultimately decided to order everything in 1/8” NPT, and use the metric adapters that JC Whitney sells in a package.

For the record, here are the thread sizes for some of the senders:

Water temp in water pump housing- M12 X 1.5

Water temp in rear housing (near oil pressure sender)- M10 X 1.0

Oil temp (in pan)- M16 X 1.5

Oil pressure- M10 X 1.0

Other fittings-

The front cover oil outlet fitting is a 16mm X 1.5

the drain plug appears to be a 14mm x 1.5 (haven’t verified that yet).

the port for oil return on the rear housing is an 18mm x 1.5.

the port for oil return on the FD oil pedestal is 18mm x 1.5.

Adapter kit info from Tommy James long ago (hope he's doing well):

As promised here is the info from JC Whitney:
Adapter kit for imported cars.
Includes, M10x1.0, M12x1.0, M14x1.5, M16x1.5 and 1/8" 288SP external-thread adpaters, all with 1/8" x 27NPTF internal thread.
P/N 13UC9267A....each $4.99

Cheers,
Rusty (Yes, I'm a pack rat of info)
